Save the Date....

I know it's still cold and nasty out but I wanted to let all of you know that I will be holding bunny sessions again this year. The dates are Saturday March 9th and 16th and will be held again in Downtown Canton. Feel free to book now if you like. Sessions are only held for a few hours each day so don't wait to long to secure your spot. Contact me for all the details. Have a great(and hopefully warmer)weekend!

Cutest Kid on Facebook Contest!

I’m excited to announce my first Facebook Cutest Kid Contest!

I know you have a cute kid! Here is your chance to win a mini session with Portraits by Julie! You will receive a 30 minute session, a disk with 10-15 high res images with reprinting rights and an 11×14 print of your choice! The window is open now! Submit your picture to Portraits by Julie via email. I will then add the picture to a gallery on my Facebook “Like” page. You have until September 15th to submit your picture. The sooner you get your picture submitted, the sooner you can start racking up votes on it! The voting window will close on Sept. 15th @ 10pm and the winner will be announced on Sept 16th. Once your picture is posted, the voting starts! So make sure to submit your picture and tell all of your friends to vote for your child!

Here is the low down on how it will work:

TO ENTER

• One entry per child. SNAPSHOTS ONLY. Please NO professional portraits submitted.
• You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child you enter into the contest
• Child must be 17 years old or younger on the date of entry
• Photos will be accepted from September 1st, 2012 until 10:00pm September 15th, 2012 via e-mail
• Photos e-mailed to portraitsbyjulie@yahoo.com with the subject line “Cutest Kid Contest” will be accepted
• Include your child’s name and age in the e-mail (first name and age will be posted for viewing), as well as your name and contact information
• Contest open to everyone, however please be aware that the prize shoot will take place in the North Metro Atlanta area at a location pre determined by Julie Webb.

HOW PHOTOS WILL BE JUDGED

• All entries will be uploaded into an album by Portraits by Julie when they are received to the  Facebook “Like” page
• To vote for a photo you MUST be a ‘fan’ Portraits by Julie on Facebook
• Click ‘like’ for the photo you are voting for in the Portraits by Julie album labeled ‘September 2012 Cutest Kid Contest’
• Photo with the most ‘likes’ will be the winner. Comments permitted, but WILL NOT count towards the total number of votes
• Portraits by Julie will verify that all ‘likes’ of the winning photo come from Portraits by Julie Facebook fans, ‘likes’ from non-fans will not be counted
• Voting will close September 15th at 10:00pm est
• Official winner will be notified and announced on September 16th.

WHAT YOU WILL WIN

• The parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo that receives the most ‘likes’ will receive a free photo session with Portraits by Julie, an 11×14 photo and 10-15  digital images
• Photo session must be booked within 30 days of winning, and completed before December 31, 2012.
• Prize retail value of $100 – can not be altered or changed in any way and is not redeemable for cash
• Additional prints will be available for purchase at retail prices if desired
• No other promotions or discounts can be applied

Sunflower Sessions

It's sunflower time again! For the next few weeks, Portraits by Julie will be offering Sunflower Sessions. These are my full portrait sessions, not the mini's. You get up to one hour shoot time and a minimum of 20 edited images for $195. You will also be able to do one outfit change if time allows. These sessions are only booked once a day and will be held late in the afternoons, after 5:00. The location is in the Cumming area and the address will be given out at time of booking. Don't let this one pass you by. The flowers will be gone by early August so book today!

Beach portraits next week only.

Vintage Trunk sessions for Spring.

During the months of April and May, Portraits by Julie will be offering Vintage Trunk mini sessions. These are taken at a great set of train tracks nearby and look great when you pair it with some shots including the old trunk. There are two "mini" packages to choose.
